Support our Programs

We invest in education because we believe it is important to break the cycle of poverty. When we launched our Education Program in 2016 one of our artisan’s sons, Carlos, gave our founder a bracelet as a thank you. That inspired us to create our Education Bracelets, which give back 50% of profits. Then in 2019 we launched Scholarship Stacks, each one giving a full $5 back. We hope these mean as much to you as they do to us!

Well-Being & Empowerment Program

In 2019, after re-evaluating our employees’ needs, we relaunched our Education Initiative with the Well-Being & Empowerment Program. It combines meditation & mindfulness with sessions designed to help with stress management, focus, and achieving goals even in difficult circumstances. We are so proud of the women of Nica Life! UPNicaragua Fellowship

We are happy to announce our continued partnership with UPNicaragua. Nica Life is sponsoring several modules in their 18-month fellowship program designed to empower the next generation of Nicaraguan women. The fellowship is designed for girls aged 13-18 whom are chosen both for their desire to learn and their desire to help others. The program is made up of 760 education hours divided into 3 content blocks designed to teach social education, professional skills, and emotional skills. Learn more about the fellowship here.
